Use an HTTPS Pinterest URL or a pin.it share link. Open the individual Pin and copy its address again. Some country subdomains, title-slug addresses, search pages, and multi-Pin share formats are not currently accepted. If a short link does not resolve, open it on Pinterest and copy the final supported Pin URL.
No downloadable MP4 video was found
A video Pin may expose only an HLS streaming playlist, or the public response may omit its MP4. MyPinDown checks both the page and supplementary public metadata, but it cannot guarantee a file for every Pin. If your link contains a photo instead, use the image downloader. An image downloaded from a video Pin may only be its cover.
No image was found, or the image is too small
Try the individual Pin instead of a board or profile. If Pinterest provides only a resized image, the tool cannot recover the upload’s missing pixels. Read how available image sizes work. A board result contains only resources from the initial response, not its entire history.
Pinterest cannot be reached or the request times out
This is a connection problem between the service and Pinterest. Try again later with the original Pin link. Reinstalling apps or sharing your Pinterest password will not fix a service connection failure.
The result page is expired or unavailable
Temporary result links and file details live in the tab that created them for 30 minutes. A copied URL may not work in a new tab or another device. Return to the video tool or image tool and submit the Pinterest link again. If browser storage is blocked, allow temporary storage for this site before retrying.
The download is missing from Photos or Gallery
Check the browser’s Downloads list and your Files app. A completed download does not always appear in Photos or Gallery automatically. On iPhone, follow the Safari and Files steps. On Android, inspect Downloads in Chrome or your file manager. Also check free storage and whether the browser reports an interrupted transfer.
The file has a watermark, a different format, or no sound
MyPinDown preserves the supplied source file. It does not remove existing watermarks, convert WebP to JPG, restore audio missing from a source, or generate extra resolution. Check the preview and the file’s format before downloading again.
