2. Find the available MP4

Open the Pinterest video downloader in Safari. Paste the copied link and select Find videos. A successful request takes you to a separate results page. Check the title and video preview, then tap Download video. Follow any download prompt shown by Safari.

If the Pin has no accessible MP4, MyPinDown cannot convert a streaming-only source. It also cannot access private or removed Pins.

3. Locate your downloaded file

Open Safari’s Downloads list to check whether the transfer completed. You can also open Files, choose Browse, and look in Downloads under iCloud Drive or On My iPhone, depending on your settings. If you chose a different download folder, check that folder instead.

Apple explains these locations in its guide to finding downloads. To change the location, see Safari download settings.

4. Add the video to Photos, if available

Open the downloaded MP4 in Files and check its share menu for Save Video. If that action is available, use it and check Photos. File compatibility and available share actions vary. If the option is missing, keep the file in Files rather than repeatedly downloading it.

If the video does not download

Confirm that the transfer completed, check free storage, and submit the original Pin link again if the results have expired. A MyPinDown result stays available in the same tab for 30 minutes. Opening a result URL in another browser does not transfer that tab’s temporary data.

For a specific error, use the download troubleshooting guide. Download only media you own or have permission to save.
