Open the individual public video Pin and copy its full URL or pin.it share link.
Paste the link above and select Find videos. A successful request opens a separate results page.
Play the preview, then download the MP4 file to your device.
A downloaded file and a saved Pin are different: the file goes to your device, while a saved Pin stays on a Pinterest board.
Open MyPinDown in Safari, paste the Pin link, and download from the results page. Look in Files → Downloads, or check Safari’s Downloads list. The folder depends on your Safari settings.
Read the iPhone video guide →Paste the link in your browser and choose the file on the results page. Check Chrome’s Downloads list or your Files app. A file may appear in your gallery, but this depends on the device and gallery app.
Copy the individual Pin URL from your address bar, submit it above, then download the file. Check your browser’s Downloads list for its location. Your browser may ask you to choose a folder.
Use a direct public Pin link for a specific video. The examples show URL structure, not live downloadable content.
| Link type | Example | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Public Pin | pinterest.com/pin/123456789/ | Available MP4 videos from that Pin. |
| Short share link | pin.it/… | Supported when it redirects to an allowed public Pinterest page. |
| Board or profile | pinterest.com/user/board/ | Initial-page resources only, up to 100 items. Not a complete account export. |
| Country domains | pinterest.co.uk, pinterest.de | Selected country domains are supported. Regional subdomains and title-slug links are not currently accepted. |
| Private or removed Pin | Requires sign-in or is unavailable | Not supported. MyPinDown cannot make restricted content public. |
MyPinDown looks for an MP4 file in the public Pin data, including supported Story Pin video metadata. Resolution and sound depend on that source. We do not enhance resolution, strip creator marks, or convert videos to MP3.
A Pin may offer only a streaming playlist, an image, or content that requires sign-in. If no accessible MP4 is provided, there is no downloadable video result. Check the download troubleshooting guide →
Formats, access, and privacy.
Copy the link to a public video Pin, paste it above, and select Find videos. On the results page, check the preview and choose Download video. MyPinDown retrieves an available MP4; it does not convert other formats.
Check your browser’s Downloads list or your device’s Files app. On iPhone, Safari downloads usually appear in Files rather than automatically in Photos. Your download settings determine the folder.
MyPinDown selects the highest-resolution MP4 it can identify in the returned public data. HD is available only when the source provides it. We do not upscale videos or guarantee 4K.
Some public Story Pins contain downloadable MP4 files. Those files can appear in your results. A multi-page Pin may expose only some of its content; complete extraction is not guaranteed.
No. We transfer the source file without adding a logo or overlay. Watermarks already in the creator’s video remain in the file.
Check that the Pin is public and contains a video. Removed Pins, access restrictions, network problems, and videos without an accessible MP4 can prevent a download. If a result has expired, submit the original Pinterest link again.
No. MyPinDown does not sign in to Pinterest or access private boards. Only download content you own or have permission to save.
Media files are streamed to your device and are not saved on our server. Your tab temporarily keeps result links and file details for 30 minutes so that the result page can survive a refresh.
